Nicole's Story

Life I met my husband Geoff at my favourite bar in T.O. in my third year of university...We got married once I graduated in 2002. A year later we moved in with my parents while I finished teacher's college, and we bought a house in June of '05. I had my beautiful little girl on June 13th '06 at Mount Sinai Hospital. She was rushed to Sick Kids with a congenital heart defe...Expand for more
ct (we found out about while I was still pregnant). She stayed in the hospital for the first 11 days of her life and had 2 procedures done to her heart. We go to take her home while we waited for her to get big enough for open heart surgery. She had her surgery on Nov. 23 '06 and is now thriving. I am on maternity until September and I am loving every minute of being a mom.
