Nicolette's Story

Life My life bio, since high school, lets see. I went to P.E.I. to go to college, graduated with B.A. in Christina Education. Went to NFL and worked on a Children's T.V. show, and in a band, and started a new church. A great time! Went to Korea for 2 years, had the time of my life. Went to China for a vacation. Spent a month in Europe traveling around. I moved to Ontario and worked as a live in teacher for a private international school. Taught English, Geography, History... for Grade 10-12. I got myself a great dog! Her name is Mocha and she's a Bernese Mountain Dog. I left that job after 3 years. Now I'm enjoying being an Education Assistant in the Public School System. I work with all grades and all learning levels. I work with special needs kids and other kids. I'm taking American Sign Language, so I hope to get a full time contract helping deaf students in the mainstream system. It's been an interesting life so far, looking forward to the next.... years. College College was the best thing that could have happened, I had the best time there and some of the best friends I've ever had. The collge that I went to was a Christian one, but I think we had more fun. I knew it was going to be an interesting time when I first walked into the hallway and 3 people who were fighing over who was the most beautiful "woman", in...Expand for more
the cartoons that is. The little mermaid? Belle? Snow White.... Late nights at Tim's was great, we got to know the people running the one down the road, so we would go and play hacky sack there, study, or just get away from it all. We had a curfew, but never kept it. Prank between the boys and girls were normal occurances. you know, cling wrap, toilets... temperance paint... showerheads... Making dummies and putting them in your bed, taking a teachers office apart and putting it back together in the main hall, exactly the way it was in her room. Putting a classroom in your Live-in dorm monitor's kitchen. Choir/Drama tour and almost getting hit by a Christmas tree. Ahhh yes, College is a great time for everyone. Friends were great too, you could tell them everything and not worry about what they think, to actually share your feelings and keep your friends. It was a good group of people there. The teachers were great too. Greek class we would sneak in and change the teachers clock a few minutes fast... why? Well, first, you'd get out earlier, second, if he was 15 min late, then class was to be canceled. But somehow he always made it on time. Or the other teacher that would go Thursday night movies with us after choir practice. I was even lucky enough to be picked to be the validictorian, which was an honor.
