Nina's Story
Life
Wow! My life. It's been quite a journey. However, I'll just get right to the highlights. When my family moved to the the East Side of Detroit, I reluctantly, transferred to Kettering High School. It was absoluetly nothing like Western. I hated it. I had some family problems going on at the time and a young man that I had been seening had asked me to marry him, I accepted inspite of my fathers disapproval, I thought it would be a solution to fix the other problems that were going on. Well, it turned out that I had jumped out of the frying pan into the fire. We tried for 15 years to make an impossible situation work, but after 4 wonderful sons and two beautiful daughters, I decided to take my precious cargo and step out on faith. Ten years later, I met my present husband while taking some classes at Wayn...Expand for more
e State University. He has made up for all of the fire I've been through. He is a dream come true for me. We have been together 7 wonderful years, became a blended family of 9 children (some of them are grown and on their own now, they don't all live in our house), 10 darling grand-daughters, and one precious grandson. I had purchased a home on the East side of Detroit, near Outer Drive and Hayes, after we married, My husband got us a beautiful home in Van Buren Township, near Belleville Lake, where we reside, along with my 2 youngest sons who are now 17 and 19. My 19 year old will be starting Davenport University this fall. My youngest son will be a senior in 2005. Oh and don't let me forget to mention snickers, my cute little Yorkshire Terrier. So there you have a little of the life of Nina (Brown) Pinelton.
