Nina's Story
Life
My life Biography could never fit here. I've had too much happen to me in this past year alone. But in short..I'm a Mom, happy, healthy, in love with life and doing the best I can with what I've got...which is a lot!!
School
St. Luke's is a place I care to forget, but I grew from that experience. It forced me to prove to those in that place, that I was smart, and all I needed was a good teacher to guide me. Which lead me to Holy Family; a place that I was able to grow and become the woman I am today. I miss those times most and wish I could be there again, walking the halls w/ my dear friends.
College
I'm happy to say that I now have in my possession a Bachelor's Degree and my Teaching Certificate. I truly enjoyed my time at Aurora Univ., but I am happy to say my edu...Expand for more
cation is not over yet. I plan to return soon to achieve my Masters, and then my Doctorate. I have a great group of girlfriends. We are equals who share our knowledge, and support one another. This is a first for me, since in my past most of my girlfriends ended up taking what I held near and dear. College has been the best thing to happen to me, next to the birth of my son! =)
Workplace
Working at the Fairmont was something I will never forget. The pay was bad, the hours sucked, but the people were worth it. I will miss Ken Todd the most. He was a great man and treated all of us like family. I wish he were still here with us, instead of up there in the wild blue yonder. God Bless you Ken...
