Nina's Story
Life
I am happily married to a wonderful man, we have 3 daughters and 3 sons. I stay very busy with work and 7 Grandchildren. We have 2 Spinger Spaniel dogs and 4 crazy cats. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. ( I still have my old friends from grade school.) I also enjoy my get aways to Kentucky and Tennessee, going through the Smokey mountains and four wheeling through the mountains in south eastern Kentucky. And I especially enjoy spending time with my family at our cabin on Grand Lake in Michigan.
School
My first crush ever was Roger Hall in kindergarten. (He used to live on the 1500 block of Erie St.) My first puppy love was Mark Kellerbauer on Bush St. My favorite Teacher had to be Mr. Brown in sixth grade. " Mrs. Zimmerman is STILL kicking"!!! I sent her a Christmas Card and she sent me some pictures and a card back...Expand for more
. I see her from time to time. I would LOVE to start Stickney School all over again!!! I miss when the North End was clean and safe. I live on the Michigan Line now, it is so differant. I miss the old neighborhood and to see the School I loved, in such a state makes me sick. I hope that everyone I knew and knew me is all doing well. I'd love to get together and share stories and memories. Maybe this spring or summer at WildWood Metro Park???
College
I only attended Stautzenburger for maybe one year, a couple semesters? I ended up getting a job and quit.
Workplace
I moved to Sacramento, California and worked at a bar called The Red Lion Inn.( In 1988 -89 ). 1989, I worked at Toledo Paper Box Co. - Therma Tru Corp. - Imperial Lanes - and Forrest View Lanes in Michigan on Dean Rd. I Own a Carpet Cleaning Business, since 1995 - to present.
