Nina's Story
Life
Hello, Lets see since I have never written anything here lets get started. My maiden name was Wright. Got married in 1988. Have 2 kids...Rachel and Robbie . Got divorced in 2015.
School
Ok.. I had a crush on several guys but nobody seemed to notice me. I was rather shy, small and quiet. My first year in high school was at Sahuaro, freshman year 1971 my brother Mark was my best friend. He helped me in that giant school. I couldn't read the combination on our TOP locker so he made a mark at the bottom and I learned to open it from the bottom and not the top mark. People would look at me funny wondering how I saw the mark at the top. That was our secret. The spanish teacher we had was funny because he didn't figure out till almost the end of the year that my brother and I were related and had done and used the same reports about our house, vacations etc...When Sabino was built I went there my brother stayed at Sahuaro. If I had to do high school all over I would probably change some things like not being so shy and worried about what other people would think. If you don't like me the way I am ...to bad...I am who I am. Today I have more self confidence and I am more assertive.
College
College... I went to Pima Community College for a little while. I started out wanting to be a PE teacher then changed to Advertising Art. That was real interesting. I wanted to become a graphic artist and do the graphics on race truck haulers and cars... then thought that doing billboard and magazine commercials would be fun. TV. But at the time I was thinking about doing this there were NO computers... now everything is done by "pointing and clicking" "dropping and dragging". But left college school after about 6 months. Moved to Oklahoma City for a couple years then to Colorado for 3 months then back to Tucson.
Workplace

OKC, OK and worked at TGY Toy store... that was a thankless job. Then BINGO... got a job at Safeway as a cashier. Try to transfer back to Tucson but NOT>>> Worked at Roadway Inn at Broadway and Wilmot as a desk clerk. Then go a job at Lucky Foods store/ ABCO till 1991. Then worked at various jobs after that... Butterfield School, daycare in my home, delivery driver for a rubber stamp company, Office Max.. then transferred to Office Max in Bullhead City for 6 months then worked at Seitz Office Supply for 2 years. Now a Domestic Engineer.... (housewife/mother/maid/taxi/chef/etc...) I workout at the gym with my personal trainer 3 days a week. Sometimes I consider that a job just staying in shape.
Well, I retired again..hahaha didn't last long because I get bored. They built a Sams Club in Bullhead City. Worked at that place. Slave labor. I really wasn't to happy there for many reasons. So I quit. I have decided that if I was not happy working where I was at then it wasn't worth staying. Happily my husband was OK with that. Because if the wife is not happy the hubby isn't either...LOL>>> Took more time off to get things done around the house. Went to have coffee at Starbucks in the Safeway and they offered me a job. YES>>> back in the retail grocery business. I am working as a cashier and part time bookkeeper. I really like the bookkeeping job part. I have been there a year now and have actually about 2 years till my 20 years with the Grocery Business. OFFICIAL RETIREMENT...lol... But I will be there till I am not happy again. They pay is great and the hours not to bad. Not having to work 40 hrs a week is great.
I am a reality show junkie..or used to be. Now working at night it is hard to watch so I watch on the computer sometimes. Not just reality shows anymore but others as well.
Well, when kids turn 13..teenagers remember you will wake up that morning "knowing nothing" according to them. Because they are now a teenager and know EVERYTHING. Also... I have 2 children, one girl and one boy total opposites. Can't believe they both came out of me.
