Nina's Story
Life
Hello there, I am Nina Young Bear and I am a member of the Meskwaki Nation in Tama Iowa. I graduated from Riverside Ind. School in 1983, I also graduated from United Tribes Tech. College in Bismarck, ND back in 1987.
I am a single mother of 3 children ages range from 16 to 11 years old. The oldest is a Boy, and the other two are girls.
I like to travel to places that I have not been...Expand for more
to before and also going to pow wows in a big thing to me. I do dance still, I have moved to jingle though, my girls also dance.
I am currently working at our casino in the cage department, I hold the postion of the Cage Manager. I have been here for the past 12 years, I like my job but would like a change sometime soon.
That's about all for me, nothing has really changed.
