Nita's Story
Left Oxbow in 1967, moved to Kenora, Ontario where I attended Night school and received my medical secretary diploma. Went to work at the Sears store as a secretary, married in 1968, have 3 grown children, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandbabies. Moved to Kamloops, B.C and started work at Royal Inland Hospital in the Admitting Department and my last position was in the Cardio department. Divorced first husband after 27 yrs of marriage. an early retirement from the hospital and moved to Edmonton in 2005. Got bored with being retired and went back to work as Administrative Assistant for a home alarm company, they sold the company in 2009. Took time to raise my little grandson till 2013 then started working again at Cummins Western Canada, still there. In my spare time I like to go out for supper and a movie with a female co-worker who is also alone. Otherwise its sleep, eat and work 5 days a week. Weekends relax and enjoy life to the fullest.
