Life
Howdy! After finishing my Masters degree in Jazz Studies at Rutgers in 1998, I moved to Middletown, CT and married Kate Ten Eyck, a visual artist I met in the all-state jazz band in high school. h performs fairly often in NYC.
Meanwhile, I teach at several colleges, including Wesleyan University and Central Connecticut State University and have written eight books on jazz piano, plus an instructional DVD. Book number 9 is in the works.

Their transformation since joining our family has given us a real education in the power of unconditional love. It is really heavy, and it has made us strong advocates for adoption and foster care - there are a lot of kids who have huge potential and wonderful hearts and are just waiting for good families. Think about it . . .
