Noel 's Story
Life
Yeah I know..as my picture indicates...I have grown in size and my hair has turned gray plus it is receding....but I am still bulgy in the right places..
Graduated from Olivet Nazarene College in 1968 I did graduate work in Clinical Psychology and Theology(spent 10 years learning and playing politics with the professors, anyone who has done graduate work knows what I am saying)-Married Julie Goins of Lafayette In in 1970 Have three daughters (Angela, Melodie, Olivia) 4 granddaughters (Pamela,Melia, Chelsea, Micah) and 4 grandsons (Christopher, Andrew, Issac, Holden) living I had one beautiful granddaughter, Rhayne Elizabeth, who went home to be with Jesus
We have 5 more beautiful kids we sponsor through Compassion International (Yusuf in Indonesia, Michael in Tansania, Brighton in Ghana, Pamela in Peru and Amalia in Bolivia) and they are like our sons and daughters
... Spent 10 years in the ministry. Have coached several years in the sports of Track and Field and Cross Country winning 90% of meets career wise and being coach of the year several times. Also, have received 5 humantarian awards.
Retired from the Psychology field in June of 1998 Am now a Superintendent in Parks and Recreation...Expand for more
...Coached Track and Field and Cross Country on both college and high school level Have held seminars in several parts of the country most notable for ' Perfect Love is Letting Go of Fear' and 'I am a Parent-Now What?'
I am a gorilla and dolphin enthusiast and love spending time around them.
A sense of humor is must in my life and I try to get as many to laugh as I can.
I am getting old and crusty but if I knew senility was so bliss I would have done that first ..Got to tell you the transition from selective memory and hearing to no memory and no hearing at all has been great....
My firends used to call me the computer mind because of my ability to recall information..I tell them I still have the computer mind ...that it just had a virus attack all the memory
Bottom line is I am absolutely nothing without God...and Jesus Christ as my personal Savior
If you aren't in a personal relationship with Jesus, I would like to invite you to invite Him into your life!!
I am not interested in religion or denominationalism but a relationship with Christ. I tried a bunch of other things and it just brought me emptiness. With Christ, there is Peace that passes all understanding.
