Noella's Story

Life as of April '08 Yay! My teaching contract is finished in 2 weeks and I am launching into setting up the Wellness Center on a small organic farm. If anyone knows of a good spot, preferably on the river, and near the city of S'toon, do contact me, Please! I live in the city - in Saskatoon, where I can be near my grandson. I tried to get away from the prairies a number of times, but it seems to be where I belong, at least for now, until I retire! I was widowed in 1994, second marriage. My son has several trades and works and has his business out of S'toon. My daughter is in medical school in Edmonton, and I am hoping to groom my grandson (bit of humor) to be a pilot. Then I will have a good doctor to look after me, and a pilot to fly grandma anywhere in the world she wants to go! They asked me my gender - what's the matter?? Keni's only crime was to enter a Vietnamese restaurant to have a bowl of soup ... and in 15 to 20 seconds from start to finish of the incident, this kind, gentle, compassionate, hard-working, intelligent business and devoted family man lay face down in a cold parking lot dead. We hope to find out why he was killed soon - when the killers are brought to justice. They panicked and reacted? He could have identified them? He looked like the man they were after - who they had just shot and killed inside? I will be speaking at a gang prevention conference in May in Regina to tell the our story. My daughter has done many media interviews. We don't want Keni's death to be in vain. January 2012 Battling breast cancer. Just another bump in the road, but after 7 months it is getting to be a pest and a nuisance one! Anxious to move on and back to previous plans. Keni's killers were all four brought to justice. Thanks to some awesome police work on the part of Calgary Homicide and their gang squad.
