Nora's Story
You may remember me as the "pregnant" girl of the graduating class, well let me tell you it wasn't just one--it was twins! From that day on, my life, although it has had a few good moments, was a rocky road of hard times, but by the grace of God and a driving sense of survival, I made it through!
I always wanted to be recognized as someone who was on top. Someone to be in charge when the bottom fell out. My family will attest to this today. Whatever hell breaks out, I can and usually do have some control over it, and if I don't--I soon will!
Growing up in Cuba I always felt like an outsider. I vowed to leave and not come back, of course I did. It seems that after all these years the town has improved slightly, but they still have a ways to go. I do like visiting on occaission though.

ngs I have done are varied. Yes it is true that two of Olean's squirrels are mine! Yeah I may be a bit "nutty", but with the proceeds going for a hands on museum for children I couldn't resist. I got so sick of my children being told "don't touch" everytime I took them someplace!
And yes, the Garlic festival is one of my favorites. From the cookoff to the poster designs I do enjoy that.
From photography to writing, history and spiritualism, my life is not boring. It may surprise you to know that I have a passion of not getting older, but better. After all the years of doing for others, now is my time. My friends are expanding and yes, now I own three guitars! (I plan on rocking out in the old folks home!) Never stop learning. We are Never to old! Down with the establishment. ROCK ON!
