Noreen's Story
Life
I live in beautiful white rock b.c. in a big old house by the ocean with partner Jim, my son Dan,a parrot, two dogs and a cat. I worked at air canada for 33 years as an aviation painter and recently retired.I still enjoy travel, reading, hiking and gardening which has been my lifelong passion.For my retirement project I dug up my back lawn for a veggie garden, we are still enjoying lots of fresh veggies.
We made gallons of wild blackberry wine and fig wine from homegrown figs!Life gets better and better each year and my 6 grandchildren are a joy.This year our son mike is getting married in Poland,...Expand for more
we are looking forward to another adventure there and are planning on a visit to Paris on the way
2012 well the last year has had its ups and downs, I have pancreatic cancer and am taking chemotherapy with some success, however the prognosis is not good. I am enjoying the life more each day as I become closer to the end of my life. my friends and family have rallied around and life is good. I will be letting this membership go as it is very expensive being sick! However I do hang out on facebook so can be found there. I hope you are all well and happy and enjoying this wonderful life we have been given
