Norm's Story
Life
23JUL07
After 38 years with Trans World Airlines (Phoenix, Los Angeles, Kansas City MO) and almost 2 years at the Ameristar Casino in K.C. I have retired and moved to the Ozarks of MO near the town of Ava.
I have started home and animal sitting for the locals which is keeping me occupied.
MsHarvey, cat, turned 18 on 28JUL07.
After many worker and rain delays I have moved into my new home. It is out in the boonies of Booger (Douglas) County. Very quite and lots of fresh air with a stream near by and also Branson.

Still alive and well in the Ozarks. MsHarvey has since passed. My sitting business has grown some. Taking me to FL, AR, CA and many places in my area. Having retired as an American Airlines person makes getting to places much easier. I guess most all of us are now 70!!!!!! Yikes!!!
10JAN16
Having grown tired of cold weather, I have listed my place for sale and will move back to Arizona.
Planning the move to Coolidge where my sisters Jane and Rachel are. That way they can take care of me when I get old.
10OCT16
I did the move to Coolidge last June. Should have down sized first.
As of this writing, I am on a sitting job in Sarasota FL.

It is good to be living near family.

Still doing good in AZ. Being in the middle of the virus has been trying but all well here.
I get to sit and watch the garden try to grow.
18JAN2021
Still here, trying to get an appointment for the COVID vaccination. What a chore that has become.
I hope to travel back to MI this spring. It has been a couple years since I have seen family and friends.
Wow!!! Hard to believe I am working on my 80th year.
11SEP2021
Has been a very hot summer this year. However, we did have a good monsoon.
I lost my brother Marlan in May and brother Jim in June. I miss them a lot.
Jane, Rachel and I are still hanging in there.
I had hoped to get back to MI for my classmates 80th year birthday lunch but decided not to travel because of COVID picking up again. Maybe before winter sets in.
20DEC2021
Well, I didn't make it to MI before winter started but did go to Nipomo CA where I celebrated my 80th and Thanksgiving with my cousins. Also visited long time friends in San Pedro and Palm Springs.
I will make it to MI in the spring, even if I have to drive. Hope to meet up with '59ers'.
Wish all a good Holiday Season.
