Norma's Story
Life
I taught grades 1-4 in 1955-56, and then kindergarten from 1969, at St. John's Lutheran School in Waltz, MI until 1977, then moved to Mackinaw City to build and operate the Mackinaw City KOA Kampground, which I sold in April, 2000 after 21 years of ownership. I'm now retired and enjoying Arizona in the winter, our home in Cheboygan in the summer. I have three children, Wynn & Kent Krzyske of Carleton, and Nyle(Krzyske) Potthast of Crystal Lake, IL; also six stepchildren, and twenty-two grandchildren. My husband, Carl is a semi-retired elect...Expand for more
rical contractor. He works all spring, summer and fall until we return to Arizona to live in our park model trailer.
I enjoy sewing, quilting, knitting, Bible study and singing in my church choirs (both in Cheboygan and Litchfield Park, AZ, whichever one I happen to be nearest.)
I enjoy reading about fellow students at Airport High, St. John's Lutheran Elementary School AND Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois. I find it fascinating to meet people and find that we have some one, or some place in common. It seems to happen often.
