Norma's Story
After graduation I went to work at Inter Mountain Telephone Company. I met my husband, Robert (Bob ) Smith September 1961 and we were married January 23, 1965. Bob was with Commercial Credit Corp at the time and in the spring of 1966 was transferred to Kentucky. We spent 6 years in Kentucky and then moved to Princeton WV in 1972.
Our daughter, Tracy, was born October 11, 1969 and surprise, surprise 10 years later our son, Jeffrey was born on July 24, 1979. Tracy graduated from Concord University in Athens WV in 1991 and lives in Charlotte NC and Jeff graduated from University of Tennessee in 2002 and lives with his wife Laura in Knoxville Tn.

Tracy was born, I was a stay-at-home Mom until 1974, when I went to work for Mercer County Bank, Princeton,WV in their Installment Loan Dept. Mercer County Bank later became One Valley Bank and I worked in several positions in the bank before becoming a Branch Manager for 7 years. In 2001 One Valley Bank was acquired by BB&T Bank and I retired in July 2003.
When I retired, my husband said "let's move back to Bristol" so we sold our home, bought one in Bristol and have lived in Bristol since May of 2004.
Thus far God has blessed both my husband and me with good health and we pray that this continues. We both enjoy reading, walking and exercising,
Bob at the fitness center daily and I workout at Curves three times a week.
