Norma's Story
Life
It's been a couple years since I updated things... and as usual, a few things have changed: for starters my name. My "steady" of the last several years and I got married last fall and now I have an instant family! We're all learning how to be just that: a family, along with all the challenges being a step-Mom with a daughter hitting teen-years can have. My husband and the kids are great and I wouldn't change any of it.
Wow! It's been almost 20 years since I've seen most of you, and a lot has changed since then. I couldn't deal with the idea of more school after graduation so I worked as a missionary for ~10 yrs in Japan and eastern Europe (Austria, Germany, Poland, and Hungary). f German and lost most of my Russian. My folks moved to Indpls while I was in Japan, so I settled here ~10 yrs ago - even bought a house (which I've now sold). I finally finished my BA in 2003 (it only took 10 years!) and will round out 7 years working at a diagnostics company in Indy.
I get back to Boulder every couple of yrs. and catch up with as many friends as are still around. Still have a soft spot for the Flatirons, that even Mt. Nissan, Fuji, and Jungfrau couldn't fill.
Workplace
From healthcare, missions, administratation, plastics, printing, translation, utilities, and back to healthcare - okay at least diagnostics, I have run the full gamit of of things since 1983.
I've been working in medical diagnostics since 1997.
