Odell Marie's Story
Life:
I am O'Dell, nickname (ree ree or wee wee) in elementary, junior high and high school, but since, I've used my middle name and is known by "Marie". I'm from Gulfport, Ms and moved to Jackson, Ms 1974 after the death of my father. Ive attended a lot of schools but I'll keep it simple. Here we go! I attended North Gulfport elementary, Orange Grove Middle School and Harrison Central High. I graduated from Lanier High in 1977, attended Jackson State for one semester, withdrew and received a two-year degree from Hinds Jr. College. I later attended Belhaven University and received my Bachlor of Business Administration degree. I was married for about eight years and now divorced and have been for for about 18Yrs. ity with the help of the Lord. My children are all grown and are as followes: Two daughters 33 & 38, Two sons 24 & 28 and Two grands, a boy & girl both 10 years old. I was an employee of Mtel/SkyTell/MCI, Accounting, Billing, Fixed Asset, etc. for 20 plus years. Those days ended in the 2005 (Berney Ebbers) Worldcomm Layoff. I've been a great company now iabout 7 1/2 years in the Fiscal Services Dept. I assist in managing the financials of ten Job Corps Centers. I'm dating a great person from New Orleans and we've made our eight year mark. Through the years I've been very Blessed and have no complaints. MY motto is, "If you're not a part of the solution, I won't allow you to be part of the problem". I don't have a problem charging it to the game and moving on. I'm still keeping it real!!!!
