Odette's Story
Hi everyone!
I'm Odette and I was at OLV from 1966 to 1970. I used to live at 4425 P Street. The teachers I remember are Sister Rochelle, Sister Jeananne, Miss Normas Schlorb. My best friend at OLV was Nancy Lancaster and I also remember Jane Flack quite well.
I was born and lived in Malta till 1966 when I came to the U.S. In 1970 I went back to Malta and in 1972, at 16, I went to Tripoli where I worked as a journalist for one year. In 1973 I went to Rome and worked at a travel agency for 3 years. In 1976 I got married and have been living with my Italian husband in the North of Italy. I teach English at a private language school and I also work as interpreter and translator. My husband's name is Mario and we have one daughter, Michelle who's 25.

twice - on our honeymoon in 1976 and this summer. We spent a month in California both times. While last time we spent most of our time in town this time we were at El Dorado and visited Yosemite, Mendocino and Lake Tahoe...Very different!
I live and work in town but we have a house at the Garda Lake and we try and go there as often as possible. I love being in contact with nature and going on long walks. I love animals but can't keep any in my town apartment. We're hoping to move to the lake when my husband retires but at the moment we go to and fro!
Apart from Jane Flack, the other names are familiar too but I can't remember the faces quite well. Wish I had a year book so I could have a look at "the way we were" then! That would help. Does OLV have old class photos online?
