Jamie's Story
Life
I don't have a gold membership to Classmates, so please drop by my FB page (Tunisianbelle).
I've had a really wild time since high school! First off, I started going by my first name, Jamie, when I went to college. Since then I've met some interesting people, did some crazy things, had a wide variety of jobs, and did a lot of traveling over America and Europe. During that time I met a wonderful man whom I love with my whole heart, we got married and now have 6 terrific children. We live outside of the US in a country called TUNISIA, but we come to Colorado regularly so we can visit with my family. Life has given me many twists and turns, but has also provided me with many blessings.
School
As everyone knows, I only went to HRHS for a short time, and then was home schooled. I enjoyed my time at HRHS but felt that I was able to gain more experiences by being home schooled. I had the opportunity to work and rearrange my studies around my work schedule. I was also able to graduate early...Expand for more
and start college early.
College
I have to say that this period in my life was very memorable! I was introduced to a wide variety of people and really learned who I was. I also did a lot of partying, which is probably the trademark for college life.
Workplace
I've done just about everything! I had a full time babysitting job for my high school years. Loved that line of work. Then I tried my hand at retail. Not too bad. After that I was a yard and driver for a lumber company. Hated it. Next came working as a teller for a bank. I sure enjoyed seeing all that money everyday! Then I went into a field I absolutely loved - the hospitality field. I started off as a front desk clerk, and worked my way up to management, switching jobs during that course. While I was doing that, I also dabbled in paralegal work, which was informative but not my cup of tea. I concentrated on hospitality until finally giving it all up for what I consider the most rewarding job of all-- being a stay at home mom.
