Oliver's Story

Life I am an associate Pastor at Southside Tabernacle Baptist Church. I never saw this coming but God Did! I work in the Nursing Home ministries at my church. I am truly blessed. I was seriously injured overseas in an Army training accident. I am still working with the residues from that debacle. I have put on about 100lbs since you last saw me. My wife tells me I still have that same sense of humor just fatter, can you imagine that (smile)? I have two grown daughters and one grand daughter. My baby is 21, the chip off the old block is 28. I work when I can in the public school system as a "substitute" teacher. And yes I have substituted at Gibbs! That my friend is a whole nother story. know how precious life is until you get a wake up call. Dear friends I got one! Some of yall know what I am talking about! At the time of course I blamed my squard leader,my platoon any and everybody,How could this happen to a nicer guy? I was physically at the top of my game!I had no answers only God knows our coming and going dear friend so that's where I have left it laying in that mud and rain,what a picture (smile). But God is Good all the time and all the time God is good! There might be a classmate out there are a friend that is reading this and don't know what I am talking about?
