Life I live in Washington DC since 1968, when I came to Georgetown Univ grad school to get a Masters in French and Sociolinguistics, and almost completed my Phd D there.. Then, my thesis advisor and friend suggested that I was meant to be a therapist, and I knew he was right.. So since 1974, I've been a psychotherapist (trained unusual ways, but excellently), and since 1982, I've specialized in people's irrationalities about money. This speciality has taken over most of my professional life. Never thought I'd write five books, speak all over the country, be on Oprah, Today Show, 20-20 etc. I've loved that.. I've had my own radio show (Money Harmony on WWDBAM in Philly area) and would enjoy being on TV (being paid to be on TV that is). I have a beautiful fabulous son, Aniel, age 29, who was a free lance journalist in Argentina and Brazil, now using his Portuguese planning Brazil conferences at his job in NYC, who plans to get a PhD in religions eventually comparing Buddhism and Hinduism.
