April 27, 2019 Fast Forward to today.. We moved to Forest Grove, Oregon on June 3, 2017 to the Masonic and Eastern Star Home known as Jennings McCall after a prominent Oregon Mason. We have a two bedroom Apartment on the ground floor so I have a flower bed to tend and it is beginning to be beautiful after our winter. We are very happy here. We came here because Glenn is a 50 year Mason of Oregon. Onetta has joined an Eastern Star Chapter here and Glenn attends with her tho he is not a member here in Oregon yet. Our family has grown since my last update. We have another Great Grand Son named Jack O'neil the son of our Grandson Steven. Steven and his wife Sarah are still serving our Country in the U S Coast Guard. It is 10 years now and he just made First class and we could not be prouder of him. Our buttons are busting. Glenn's health is not to good but we take each day one at a time. I am doing fine for an old Gal about to be 82 on the 15th of May. If you are in Forest Grove, Oregon or just going thru give us a ring or stop by. We are always ready for company. August 6, 2016 We are back in Vallejo, CA for a while. Good News. We are Great Grand Parents again this is #4. James Patrick O'Neil, Jr. Was born about 1 year ago. Now, again we are GG's again on June 30, 2016 Jack O'Neil was born here in Vallejo and I got to hold him when he was about 8 hours old. He weighed in at 7 lb 1 oz and is a real cutie. So that makes # 5 Great Grand Son. So we now have 2 girls and 3 boys. Since Jack lives only a few blocks away from us we get to see him often. I had forgotten how fast they grow since our daughter Marie was only 5 lb at birth and that was 53 years ago this September. Wow ! how time fglys We will be here now for a while. We will be going to Oregon later this Fall to see Glenn's sister In Prineville OR and my cousin in Portland. I'll even drop by to see our old School before the modernize it. It won't be the same. My Mother was in the first four year Graduating Class in 1924. So it holds many memories for our family. August 9, 2015 To up date you on what is happening in my life and my husband Glenn's. We are getting ready to go back to Quebec after being in Vallejo for the past 16 months because of Glenn's health issues. I was in Quebec for the month of October in 2014 and then back here again. Our Eastern Star Life keeps us busy. If you have forgotten or do not know Eastern Star is an International Masonic Organization for Women and Men. You must have a masonic relative in order to belong. It is related to the Masonic Lodge but is no part of that Order. We are very active here in California as well as Quebec. Glenn was Worthy Grand Patron in 2013 in Quebec and now has been chosen to serve on the Heart Committee of the International Organization called the General Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. His term begins in November at the Convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He will serve for three years on this committee. He will have the Grand Jurisdictions of Oregon, California, Ontario, Canada, Quebec, Canada and New Brunswick, Canada. So you see we will be on the road, which will be fun, for the next three years. Now to family. We have a new Great Grand Son, James Patrick, Jr. who was born in May. So that makes 3 Great Greats, 10 Grand Kids. out of 3 Kids. One lives on the East Coast and the rest are around the Vallejo Area. Our Coast Guard Grand Son is doing well and we are very very proud of him. He is in the aviation part of the Coast Guard so has some good rescue stories to tell now and then. My health is good for a 78 year old and I am told I do not look like that old. I have lots of energy and am on the go all the time. I care for a 91 year old lady when I am in Vallejo and even when I am in Quebec. This keeps me busy too.
