Paige's Story
I always wanted to be a jeweler when I grew up. My Dad though that it would be more "practical" for me to become a dentist - you know...same tools and wholesale gold. It turns out that I still want to be a jeweler...maybe when I retire.
Can you believe that for most of the last twenty years I have worn a hard hat and orange reflectorized vest to work? Would you have guessed when you knew me in high school that I would later discover my love for engineered construction? That I would manage large union crews in the field? At least I'm the only one with a key to my "ladies" port-o-potty! The work crews can figure out I'm a chick by my long hair and pretty nails - oh, and of course the gold jewelry....

late 30's with two wonderful kids. We live in my dream house - an historic spanish-style on a half acre. Many of you may know one, or more, of my three brothers. All of the members of my extended family are doing fulfilling things, all healthy and all gainfully employeed. Between the four of us, my mom has 12 grandkids and 2 great-grandkids.
I still keep in contact with Sandy, Steve, Annie, Nancy, Marti, and a gaggle of others from our little farm town of GG. My biggest surprise about moving to other areas and starting a family is that we had it really good growing up. We had a lot of fun, safely experiencing new things with a freedom our kids don't have. Remember? The Brookhurst bus ended at lifeguard station #13....
