oms without having to go to the doctor as their disease progresses. Often people don't understand how rewarding this is and that it is depressing. At times, when you become close to patients and their families it is difficult, but it is a wonderful feeling to be able to help them through a very difficult time in their lives, to educate them on the dying process, offer tenderness and compassion and often a giggle or two.
