I live in Midland,Tx. and have been here for 39 years, so I consider this "home". I am now a homemaker after working at Midland Memorial in Radiology for yrs. I had and accident in which I had to have back surgery in which the doctor messed up on me so now I not only have back problems but nerve damage down both legs due to the mess up so due to that I now stay home. I have 2 daughters, Candace Denise who was a ER, R.N. for 18 years and now House Supervisor over Harris Methodist Hospital in Arlington. She has 3 kids, Dakota Shawn, Briley Grace Duran, and Presley Hope Duran. She and her husband Robbie, live in Arlington, Tx. Kindra Michelle, of Midland was in the dental field and now has decided she's going back to school to become a RN. She's finishing up her 3rd semester and will graduate in May. She has a daughter, Destiny Jo'Gwendolyn, and a stepson Stetson Lane and a baby who recieved his "angel wings", Brayden Ramsey King. She and her husband, Justin, live in Midland. I have raised 3 stepsons, Kyle, Kurtis and Travis. We won't talk about it ....all I can say.....it was NOT easy....genetics run deep!! When ppl conceive and are on drugs........well, enough said! Of course anyone that really knows me knows that I love animals so at the present time I have 2 poodles, Bo & Mulan,a Yorkie named Harley, 1 cat, Momma Kitty, and 1 cottontail bunny, ThumperLina/aka Prissy Pot! The story on her is; we were visiting friends out in the country and their dog had something in it's mouth. I thought it was a small mouse. It was not, it was a baby rabbit who was just days old, eyes still closed and very, very cold and not breathing. I begin to give her CPR and got into our truck and turned on the heater to warm her. My son in law kept telling me to give up, but I refused and as it turned out I saved her life. I force fed her every 3 hours for several weeks until she would take the bottle really well. She is very spoiled....and would never make it in the country..LOL....on her own.....she HATES raw carrots....will NOT eat them...she LOVES ...Expand for more
