Life
Celebrated our 50TH wedding anniversary July 2024!
Drove down Memory Lane in Hampton VA where we had only just begun.
Married Tom, another Fitch Falcon, back when he was an Airman there and we're still having fun!!! Through the years, new jobs took us to other interesting places to live: Newport RI, Fredericksburg VA and Pittsford NY. We have three sons that light up our lives: two of them are Clemson grads and one a graduate of Coastal Carolina and as of 2012, a daughter (!) since our youngest has married! On Thanksgiving 2017, we gave thanks for an adorable grandson born that morning! We've lived in many places in VA, RI, and NY but have lived here in Hilton Head for over twenty-eight years --the longest that we've been in one place EVER! till hear from some of my students (which touches my heart!)--they're now in their 50s <sigh>. I am my father's last daughter and still his only son (ha!) as I continue to love the games that he encouraged me to play all those years ago at Mill Creek....especially golf! Tom, a consultant to the telephony industry, is enjoying retirement and more time at home to enjoy our lives marshside in the beauty of the Lowcountry as well as the opportunities for frequent road trips for cuddle time and fun with our second Finnie grandson, born March 2020, his big bro and parents in Raleigh, NC OR time at Lake Hartwell upstate SC at our eldest’s home!
Busy and happy...what more could we ask for!?!
