Life My spouse: I met Jeff in a computer cluster at Indiana University (Bloomington, IN) on April 11th, 1990. I needed some help with a program he was already running, so I asked him for assistance. We were married on September 4th, 1994. He is now a statistical software developer for a media research company that he started working for in June of 1993, right after graduation, as a Customer Service Rep. Our pets: Most of our pets are male. We had a Pomeranian (dog) named Bubbles. He was born in 1989, and Jeff and I adopted him from the Center for Animal Care and control in Harlem (New York City) on October 14th, 1995. Felix, a very sweet Senegal parrot, is just six days older than Alex. I bought him from his former owner in February of 2004. Our Cockatiel, Fenster, (named after the outside window he flew into in the Fall of 2003) is approx. 2-2&1/2 years old. Mr. Fishy is a Betta, and we got him in October of 2002. His bowl mate is a snail named Stripe, sex unknown. The only pet I'm sure is a girl is the approx 5-week-old Guinea Pig I found on August 25th, 2005. We have a zoo, and the kids are learning to love and appreciate animals! April 9th, 2007 update: Most of our pets are now females. Bubbles died on February 20th, 2007, a victim of the pet food recall. He is survived by our other dog, Daisy May, a Papillon, who was born on March 9th, 2006, and came home with us on May 11th, 2006.
