My Kids
Ian Wayne Burdick : He's 15, into everything he can possibly do. The list includes band (trumpet)and looking forward to playing Carnegie Hall this March with the Pentwater High School Band, soccer (already been scouted by one college)and, the big thing right now, basketball. He's my Mr. Fix-It.
Andrea Clare Burdick Decker: She's 12, going on 18. She's smart, beautiful (I'm not a bit biased am I?) and very opinionated. She is a bit more picky about her activities than her brother. But art and horse-back riding are the two enduring interests.
My Job

This time of year (winter) is slow. It gives us time to catch up. I do all the books so there is plenty of tax stuff and meetings with accountants right now. I'm also learning to drive the new tractor (why not?).
It's a great place to be. Friendly people, always something new, and a never-ending supply of fruit. And when we get a break in the action we take the horses through the orchards to a local bar for R & R. The kids love it out here and it's a great place for them to grow up.
Patty French moved up here in October 1999 and owns a retail store downtown Pentwater. I'll try and get her to sign up on this too.
