Pamela's Story

Hi my name is Pamela Dyer Cox Spence Ilived on Cable ave and went to Barkwell elementary , Myrton T Herrick,Moved to Maple Heights High,I lived on Morgan ave. I can still remember a lot of names from way back, but hard to put the faces with the names. I was always happy go lucky in barkwell and herrick had a lot of friends then moved to maple heights and that all changed.was a loner then cause i didnt want to be there but thats the way it is. so i did what i had too to make it threw school then. well lets see life has been hard. i married right out of high school and was married for 14 1/2 years, then he moved me to WV and then we divorced.. now I have been married for 13 years. and life is just ok. I have 2 children from the first marriage. a girl and a boy. and have 4 grandchildren from them.. i also have 3 step children and 4 step grandchildren.. which shouldnt suprise anyone if they new me very well that i was always a kid magnet.. just like now.. I stay at home now do to some problems with my health. and i do a lot of running and taking care of my parents who cant drive anymore.. i hung out in school with very few friends. i was kind of a loner. but there was a small group that i lived closed by and still today i think of them all the time and wonder where they are. IM sure not too many will even remember me. cause i wasnt much of a people person back then, unless you got to know me.... if i could do any thing over it would be to have not gotten married ever. I would love to meet old classmates and share the old time but I dont really think too many will remember me. maybe you might remember my 2 brothers, the oldest is lawrence curtis adkins, some called him larry those that new him well called him curt, my younger brother is odell dyer jr, well one name says it all about him if you new him you new him by the name of wezzle. I think it would be so cool to meet a few special people that i have thought of a lot and wonder where there at. like marty decara, marty pinkerman, lenny quinn, bogdon rama, beth, alice, roger wallace, the koncler kids, chip altman, tim welms, clayton plumley, wonder where there all at now, but im sure life has went by fast with all of them. and have very busy lifes like most. but we will always wonder where they are today. questions from side i hope my old friends will remember me as a person who was kind and considerate, fun to be with, and spunky, flirty I always wanted to be a singer and dancer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a lame idea. As it turns out, they were right. i blow off steam by taking a long drive, which is pretty easy cause i live a hour from town and i have a long winding roads to travel so it gives me plenty time to cool off the wildest thing i ever did in school is something i cant even talk about now..but im sure that person will know what it is too. if they read this patience, faith, the will power my hero then was my mom. and still is today, doctors gave her up 15 years ago and still today she is here so god has better plans for her. i have lived in maple heights, cleveland, and now west virginia but would love too be somewhere the sun shines all the time and close to a beach.!! The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is the koncler girls, because there were like family too me.and marty pinkerman, scrapbooking, days of are lives, walks on the beach, csi, long talks life has been hard on me and the kids we have learned together that we can make it no matter what life throws a...Expand for more
t us. but it sure does get very lonely, the biggest suprise was when my first husband left me, i never expected it and it just about done me in..wont never let that happen again if i could improve my home it would be to start all over again. my dream home would be a very large log home. being a parent hasnt been easy, i have had to raise my 2 children on my own for a while so i was mom and dad. and then took on the same for the step kids. so its like i have never stoped taking care of kids.but i love my children and we have learned together mrs D from cosmo she was a very positive person and always had confidence in me when i didn't my self If I won $100 million, I'd give 5 million of it to each of my children, then spend the rest on my house, car and church, and the needy in the U.S no dorms or campus life for me. too truely be happy i would move to where the sun always shines with the one i didnt take that chance on back many years ago. wonder if he ever thinks of me today. My current age is 48. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be enjoying life. I was so completely wrong. they still have to deal with everyday life problems. well work for me has been hard, cause i have a lot of complications with my arms and hands. so it is a challenge to just lift my arms sometimes. but i do the best i can with gods help. I have worked many places so have a lot of expierences my first crush married one of my friends so go figure that... but he is single again wonder if he ever thinks of me... My best friend would tell you I'm soft hearted, fun, loveable, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as lonely. well i live in the country so i dont get dressed up fancy much just the normal blue jeans and tshirt, and shorts, but i still wear my hair about the same the weirdest job i ever had was trying to work for a small restaraunt when i was only sapose to have one boss and ended up having 4 so that didnt work I share my home with my husband and his son and daughter and grand daughter, which I find hard to handle some times. nope no trophies, never was much into sports, but my trophy is my children cause i was told i could never have any, if i could do it all over i would of told the boy that i was crazy about him and maybe that would of made a difference. and i would of went on to college. and got a better degree. more than likely in teaching.. and i would of had too think more than twice to move to wv In 10 years, I hope to be in a better place then i am right now. I'm going to get there by any way i can. well i think that would be linda koncler she lived across the street and we were like glued to the hips for a very long time. we went everywhere together, more like family than anyone i new then i dont think no one would remember me so if they did that would be a suprise, and i think having kids would suprise them cause i was told i could never have any My first job was at a carry out store, , where I got paid very little to do everything. What I remember most about it is meeting different people. well there was a friend that lived very close by and it was his last day before he left for the service and he admitted to me that he had always liked me it ended with a kiss, and a kiss i have remembered all my life wonder where he is today...and wonder if he ever thought about that day ever again, also moving from cleve to maple hts was ha hard thing to do cause i had many friends and moved to where i new no one and just couldnt fit in then.
