Pamela Brandon:  

Have been happily married to Ron since May, 1969. We have two children, three grandchildren and first great grandchild due December, 2015. We met on a blind date to the Cotton Bowl in Jan. 68. Ron was my brother, Larry's (Jones 66), roommate in the band at Texas A&M, but decided to join the Air Force before finishing college. After we married, we were stationed in San Antonio for about a year, then sent to Hawaii for a little over two years. Our son was born there in 1971. When Ron left the service, we returned to A&M and he completed his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees while I worked on campus. We moved to Houston for about a year where our daughter was born. On the day she was born, Ron began a new job with Shell Oil that would take us to Irving six weeks later. While with Shell, we finally moved into our first home in Garland.
