Pamela's Story

Life Hello! It's been a long time since I got back on the computer, sorry about that. I live in Arvada, Colorado and have two children. One in the fourth year of college and another starting college. My life has been quite exciting these last five years, so I don't have much time to write on the computer. I've been in between my youngest daughter getting a kidney transplant from her older sister. I have been battling my own disease. It's been quite hard but again we manage to survive, Colorado is beautiful, certainly a change from Brooklyn. I would love for the class of 1970 to have a reunion, I majored in Fashion Illustration, and went on to Parson's School of Design. I came out to Colorado due to my health. I remember I remained friends with Leoanora Maiorona. Does anyone remember Barbara Picone? She was my very good friend. If anybody remembers please write back. The times they are a' changing! ite memories included Mr. Tatti would allow me to go over to the deli across the street and pick up a pickle. I never quite had the closeness of teachers like I did at Art & Design. I tried to explain to my daughter that this was a regular high school and I wish I could turn back the hands of time to return. I would come from Brooklyn on two subway trains and walk and evven when it was freezing I always wanted to go carrying my big old fat portfolio. College I went on to Parson's School of Design, still taking the subway and buses from Brooklyn and yes that portfolio came with me. I remember staying up till way after 3:00 in the morning with the smell of magic marker filling my little bedroom. It was a wonderful time watching the school grow and than become affliated with the New School for Social Research. The cafeteria "cuisine" was vending machines with stale sandwiches, yummy! Workplace Designing and selling greeting cards at local gift shops.
