Jeannie's Story
I guess I'll start my story with what I loved about being a graduate of THHS. I loved being in the band. It meant so much to me. I played the clarinet and still enjoy playing today. I played in the Raleigh County Community band for a few years.
I married the fall after graduating and two years after that I had my only child, Sarah. She has blessed me with six beautiful children.
I attended Beckley Jr. College and received my Associate Degree in Elementary Education and went on to Concord and graduated in 1990 with a BA in Education.
I taught at Fairdale Elelm, Mt. View Elem, Marsh Fork (briefly) and then moved to Central Elem., in Beckley where I taught for 11 years. I currently teach at Hollywood Elem...Expand for more

I did divorce in 1993 and remarried in 1995 to a 1965 THHS graduate, Buford Davis. We live in Daniels now and enjoy our grandchildren. We usually camp at Lake Stephens during the summer. We like to golf quite a bit, although he golfs 7 days a week if the sun is shining.
I love going to the reunions. Our class, the class of "75", really should try to come. I think we were a great class. I miss everyone I went to school with. I hope we have a great turn out for the next reunion. We only had 2 people at the last reunion and I have to listen to Buford brag that the class of "65" always had the greatest attendance. So humiliating.
