Pamela's Story
Life
I attended Eisenhower for 2 years and then suddenly my mother remarried and moved us to MacArthur side of Decatur. I never forgave her from taking me away from all my friends that I grew up with. I was engaged to someone I thought was it. Well he wasn't. We never got married and he broke my heart 7 months after graduation. I later married someone I shouldn't have. But he gave me 3 wonderful children. They mean everything to me. I then married the best man from my first wedding and we are still married. I have a 140 year old house, which is a weekly project. I love going to the estate auctions and trying to buy antiques and primitives. I have to comute 30 miles one way to my job, but...Expand for more
it is worth it. I work at the post office in Champaign, Il. I have had several interesting jobs in my live. One job I had, I was the manager of a buy-here pay-here car lot. I had to repo cars all the time. One guy threatened to shoot me! My job after that was driving buses for the MTD in Champaign, great job-lousy pay. I finally landed my job at the post office, which is great pay!
On April 19, 2002, my first grandson arrived. He was gravely ill and nurses told us at first that he wasn't going to make it. He slowly got better and six weeks later he was released from the hospital. He has gorgeous red hair and loves to eat bananas. I never dreamed that I would love this little man so much.
