Time flies - 1964 graduate from Indian Trail. Spent two years at York High School then two at Addison Trail. My first stop after Addison Trail was U of I in Champaign. I lasted on semester, and came home to go to Wright Jr. College so I would be at the same place as the rest of the music kids, as my Music Theory skills were lousy. Returned to U of I where I played in the Concert Band, Small Symphonic Band (played clarinet in those) and 2nd Regimental Band (where I played percussion). College was great - and I enjoyed my 5 years there. Ya..I was on the five year plan! I've taught in five school districts in my career. I started out as Band/Chorus/General Music in Ohio, IL, for one year (Rita Linard replaced me there), my second year was in Chadwick IL teaching band.
