Pat's Story
Life
Went to Marylhurst College from 56-58. Dental assistant,
lived in Beaverton, OR worked for Tektronix until 60'. Live in
upper Mojave desert since 60'. Three super sons, divorced in
79'. Managed bowling center 75-80', bowled professionally 2 yrs.
Work for private contractor since 82' supporting the Naval Air
Weapons Center at China Lake, CA. No plans to retire,
keep busy with crafts, woodworking, gardening,
fishing, tons of other projects. Travel to Seattle,
still love it. Visted HNA couple times. Love going to
Lincoln City, OR my favorite beach.Same old person
just olde and grayer! Wish all my classmates of
52', 56' and 60' my best, great memories! Since 911
life as we all know it has changed. Some things remain the
same, WE ARE AMERICA and UNITED WE STAND! May God hold
us secure and safe.

rettiest anywhere. College memories are some of my best. Partied way too much and studied way too little, but what fun we had! Sneaking in and out of St. Catherine's Hall during Freshman year and getting caught by Sister Jeanne Rose, what great times. Marion Hall Sophomore year was great fun also. Had the best roomie in the world for both years and have remained best friends since 1956. Wonderful students and teachers, great athletic program was the reason I went there. Sister Marita Joan was my super PE teacher and actually had her in high school also. One more surprise was my "big sister" as a freshman (person that helped you in your first year) was Bernita Mooney we had graduated from the same high school, she was 4 years ahead of me. All in all I would not give up those two years at Marylhurst College for anything. It is now called Marylhurst University.
