Life
Hi everyone..after I graduated I worked a year in Honolulu (with half of my class!) and then on to San Francisco where I worked at U.C Med and Children's Hospitals. I was married in 1968 to Chuck Kaiser who is from LA. We have two children Kirsten and Eric who were married a month apart last year.('o4) Eric and Cassandra live in Mill Valley and Kirsten and Kurt live near us in Corte Madera. We are in the same house in Larkspur since we were married. A little cottage under the Redwoods. No reason to leave. Chuck had several Strokes and gets about on an electric cart. He is Larkspur's moving landmark. I get "sightings" from friends. Sometimes that is helpful when I don't know where he went! I went back to work after being out of nursing for 20 years. o I gave it up. I keep busy with church activities and working at the computer and caring for a big garden.
Update. Feb 2012
In September Chuck fell and broke his hip. Seemed like that was it for him and that he would never walk again. We had 24 hour in home care for a month and he did get better and is walking again. He does need a quad cane as before due to the Stroke. He has a newer faster scooter so he is really a hazard1.LOL. We have a care-giver three days a week who waits on us hand and foot. It is nice for me to have some days off.
Granddaughter is now 4 1/2. Had her first skiing lesson at Mt.Hood over New Year's. We have no snow here this year.
If any of you knew my sister Audrey, she passed away in 2010.
My Brother Bill lost his wife of 54 years but remarried and lives at Shawnigan Lake B.C. (V.I.)
