Pat's Story

Left Orangeville for Toronto to go to York University. Graduated with a degree in Mathematics then started to work there in the Registrars Office, statistics, admissions programming, assistant to Director of Records and the Registrar. Also continued to go to school while working there and got a business degree then an MBA in Finance. Started to work with computers and worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia as a programmer and Project Manager. Got an opportunity to work on contract for the United Nations in New York. doing application development and management for the pharmaceutical industry after leaving the United Nations. Retired for a year and then started consulting in the Quality Assurance and Regulatory area. Currently working for a software company in Manhattan. Have a daughter who is married with a son and two step sons with children. Have travelled quite a bit in the US through my work and have been to Africa quite a few times. Visit Canada and Orangeville when I can and still miss Canada. Member of the Canadian Women's Club in NYC (started in 1924). Still enjoy being in nature in Canada and wish to spend more time there.
