Pat's Story
Life
Been married going on 43 years to the same man. He is now a disabled retired fire fighter.
We took in 11 foster children and adopted one. Only way we managed to get a boy. Only one that looks like me. ha ha
I worked for OB-GYN for 37 years. Started out as Medical Assistant and ended as their Corp. Manager. At the same time we owned and operate a 30 acre farm in Marlboro, MA for 24 years. So obviously with the two jobs and 6 children; usually at the same time we worked between 15 to 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. Did about 120 hunter/jumper lessons a week plus clinics, horse shows, raise chicks, bird, ducks, goats, sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, race horses.

d still breeds and races horses. We probably owned about 25 horses at that point. Lost count. Two were stallions. We usually had about 45 horses on the property.
We finally retired and my daughter has taken over the business so she has most of my school horses.
I don't ride anymore since I had surgery on my foot. My faithful horse passed away October of 2006. Three months after he and we retired. He will be sadly missed.
We sold our farm and bought another house with four+ acres and have two horses (still breeding and racing them) with us.
We have four children - 3 grandchildren.
