A wonderful wife, two children, and five grandchildren. Pat lived in Menomonie, WI, Wisconsin Rapids WI, La Crosse, WI, La Crescent MN, Onalaska WI, and now Holmen WI. then attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. Pat Is retired as the Managing Partner and part owner of the La Crosse Media Group. He was a trainer for Dale Carnegie Training for almost 20 years. Music: Pat likes the Executives--60's rock and roll and classic rock with the Remainders.

The 1999 Riverfest La Crosse Commodore and First Mate.  Mary Patros took many pictures of us.  They are all on film.  She loved her camera and didn't want to change.  Mary was very special to us.
Everyone slowed down toward the end of the day and the screens came out.  There is something special between Hunter and his big cushions.  If Maro is doing it, it must be fun.  Jax had to leave early for band practice.
Today is the day to celebrate our many freedoms. Our country indeed faces internal and external challenges. On this day let's think about the reasons we have such a great country and set our differences aside.
Mornings when Hay and Hunter come over I put Paw Patrol on TV for them.  This morning it was for me.  I was hoping to find a better presidential candidate than the two who bumbled and stumbled through last night’s debate. (

Sami did manage to get a couple of chunks.  What a puss.  The dog food is now in the garage.  It’ll be a present for doggie cousin Hazel.
Look, Grandma bought dog food.  Haden found it amusing.  Grandma, “How could you do that”?
Then, late afternoon when Grandma Joanie went to pick up Hay and Hunter and Grandpa was in the media room, Sami decided it was a good time for her to make her move.  This was her chance to feast on the dog food.  That's Sam

Today is an important anniversary for me.  April 6, 2016, at 8:06 am is when my harvested stem cells were returned to me.   I was at UW Hospital in Madison with a room full of people.    Some had a purpose and several were

He’s not quite “da Crusher” yet but he is “da Tater”!  Congratulations to first grader Tatum Patrick Smith for getting his first pin and finishing third at the Rumble on the River held Sunday at La Crosse Logan High School.
It's a great morning in the Smith house because of the visit by Hay and Hunter.   Mom and Dad had work schedules that conflicted with their normal morning activities.  That's okay with Joanie and me.   Hunter wasn't frownin
We don't get a whole lot of morning storms here but when we do a look to the southwest lets us know it's coming.  In the time it took for me to post this, it got dark like nighttime.
