After graduating from Tish-o-High, I attended/graduated from Murray State Junior College. From there I went to the big city (Oklahoma City) and worked for an insurance company before finally going to work for the Oklahoma City Police Department. After spending a little more than 10 years at OCPD, I was feeling rather adventurous and decided to move to Anchorage, Alaska. I initially went to work for a private company which was rather boring after typing the blood-and-guts reports of the daily grind of OKC Police Department so I decided to to go back into law enforcement and so resumed my clerical duties at the Anchorage Police Department. After being in Anchorage for 5 years, I met and married the love of my life, Chuck Rhea, but after 12 short years together, he died from complications of diabetes. He was awaiting a kidney/pancreas transplant which, unfortunately, never came. We were never fortunate enough to have children, however, we had two of the four-legged kind. They are Jack Russell Terrors, as I like to say! Orbit is my oldest and she will be 15 in December. Don't expect to have her around for too many more years.
