Patricia's Story
Life
After high school, I entered Syracuse University as a Drama Major. After two years - and a summer at the Concord Hotel - I realized that real life was a lot more glamourous and dramatic than drama school! So I began working full time at the Concord, where I remained for nine years. I was then offered a job in The Bahamas. I figured I had better take the job rather than wonder for the rest of my life what would have happened if I had taken the job. me, single Bahamian and I am living proof that a one-night stand can become a 26 year plus marriage!
I now work in radio, on air and behind the scenes. I have two books out now and am working on the third one. All are on Bahamian history, the first one was done with the first Prime Minister of the country and the second and third are the memoirs of the fifth Governor General of The Bahamas.
I am active in the local theatre, am child-free and have 29 dogs and 2 cats. I am very involved in environmental matters and archaeology.
Life is truly amazing.
