Patricia's Story
Still in Wichita, Ks. Actually a suburb called Rose Hill. Population about 4000. I moved here 7 years ago. My daughter and her family live about 2 minutes away in Andover, another suburb, so I get to see my other 2 grandkids a bunch and love it. Getting older and slowing down, but that's okay. I like it that way. I am busy all the time. I work out at the YMCA 2 to 3 times a week. I am deep into genealogy and trying to write a book for the family. I took up woodworking, which is now my favorite hobby. I have completed an outside bench and a small bookcase and am working on a workbench for my garage. I tell people I love to shop; they just don't know that it is done in Lowes. LOL. My grandkids are all teenagers now, and each has their own special talent. I love watching them grow. Payton, who is soon going to be 16, has been a dance competitor since he was in Kindergarten. He is outstanding and I love watching him. His sister Rylie is going to be 15 in December and she is an outstanding soccer player. She has been to the National Cha...Expand for more
mpionships 3 years in a row on a St. Louis Competitive team. Grandson Remy, going to be 15 in March 2025, plays all kinds of musical instruments, his favorite being the trumpet. He plays basketball, football, and golf and is in Debate along with several other activities. He is going to be a very well-rounded individual. His personality shines as well. Then Reed is the last one who will be 13 in January. She is probably the smartest one in the group. She has an uncanny ability to understand life in general. She is a good judge of character. She loves theatre and entertaining and is very creative. Very artistic and is very much a leader. She also runs cross country and loves being a cheerleader. So far, so good. I love them all regardless of their talents. They are all very caring and loving kids. I feel very grateful about that.
I hope everyone is well. Feel free to contact me if you want. I am also on Facebook and Instagram under Trish Bennett Reed.
Trish (not Pat): I still don't know why everyone called me Pat in the first place.
