Patricia's Story
Life
TO ALL.....
YOU DON'T REMEMBER ME....
BUT I REMEMBER YOU!!!
I KEPT A LOW PROFILE.
I STILL DO. I CAN SEE YOU....
BUT, YOU CAN'T SEE ME......
that's still how I operate.
I hope to use what I've learned soon.....or I'm gonna lose it!
not the skill.....my mind!
lol
now here's one straight outta ripely's believe it or not.
i still live in NC....it's a small town.......but i was never a big city chick. i live in the country(kind-a sort-a).
own a house w/my b/f of 20 yrs......yeah that's a shocker huh???
no kids! that's right....NO KIDS! just dog-n- cat.
we just live life one day at a time.....take it as it comes....
it's ssdd.....we get up and go to our dead end jobs....come home, eat.....shower....crap-o-la...sleep.....yeah it's A wonderful life in the neighbor hood. the REAL American dream!
School
HUMMMMM.......I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE SCHOOL.
I was not interested in anything they had to offer.
I don't have a positive memory of the whole experience.
Having a lot of friends wasn't my main priority......being a straight A student wasn't one of my goals.......graduating was.
The sooner I was out.....the better off I'd be.
College
thank GOD it's all over!
Now, my brain needs to cool it's engines.
Have to say...it was an experience.
I went to a community college......but .....hey, anyone that knew me back in the day, never would-a thought I would've went to any kind-a college.
But, I like to surprise people:)
I surprised myself the most!
Workplace
I am on a run-away job roller coaster car.......
I'm working at home now with a timber ...Expand for more
company.
it's an interesting job....i'm learning more and more about the forestry industry.
been doing it for almost 2yrs. the best thing about it.....I work at my own pace...and the boss is never around! he he he!!
well, lets see.........the timber job is history now!
I have had a few temp jobs.(remember that atari game PONG!.....yeah it's like that)
anyway...one of those temp jobs hired me.....I would jump for joy...but i know the game.
it really po's me to think I spent 2 yrs in college to get a degree in a field I could be proud of and end up right back where i started.
I'm thankful to have a job the way the market is now.....don't get me wrong.....but I would rather be in a office actually puttin that degree to use.
well.....my motto is......even if ya got a job.......never stop lookin a job.
And that's what I've been doin for the past 3 and a half years. Since my ole mans' surgery we have been fighting to keep our heads above water. We found out real quick you can't live on 8bux an hr. So, since that last job won't givin out any raises......I had to find a job that paid more $$. Well I found it all right....I'm now workin 10hrs a day and 8 hrs on Saturdays. It's not a hard job by no means.......BUT IT'S STILL A FREAKING FACTORY!!!!!!!!
What part of my resume do these places NOT understand???
But, in the words JIMMY V.....never give GIVE UP!
Military
OOOOOOOHHHHHHH yeah......
those were the days my friends!!!!!!!
I wasn't actually in the military.
However, I did my part for the boys in uniform!
UH-RA!!!!
God Bless the US Armed Forces!
