Patricia's Story
Life
About a year after graduation in June 1966 (wasn't that only yesterday?) I moved to St. Paul, MN with my parents near Como Park (for those of you who are familiar with the area). Later I took an apartment in West St. Paul, and then in the Crocus Hill area. By 1973 Chicago was calling me back, so back I came. I fled to the suburbs in 1975, married in 1978 and had a daughter, Jacalyn in 1979. She is an only child. I am an only child, and my husband is an only child. After years of child rearing, school sports, music lessons, we have caught the travel bug. So far we have been to the Caribbean (4 times), Bermuda, Australia and New Zealand, and in 2006 will take our first trip to Europe - Munich, Prague, Budapest, Vienna and Salzburg. We also do regular trips to Vegas (Baby). We bought a condo in the Painted Desert community, 16 miles northwest of the Strip. We currently have a tenant in the condo, but eventually will become snowbirds, wintering in Vegas and "summering" back here.
I am an avid bowler, and have been league bowling every season since 1979, carry a respectable average, and am a member of the Chicago and National 600 Club.
I stay in touch with a few Formanites (and you all know who you are!), but would like to hear from more.
