Patricia's Story
Life
I live in Chesterfield, Virginia, it is outside of Richmond, we moved to the area in 1970. In 1966 I married Michael Gould, a 1962 grad of GWHS. We have two daughters, Michele,, age 39, married to SSG. Craig Pennison, United States Army, they live in Richmond and do not have any children, but they are trying and want a family very much. Our other daughter is 31 and named Stephanie, she is married to Sgt. Harvey Powers of the Richmond Police Department, and they one son Timothy Michael, age 7-he is the light of our lives. Stephanie and Harvey just had a daughter on Feb.28,2002- she weighed in at 8 lbs. 8 ozs. Her name is Brianna Marie and she just stole our hearts as soon as we saw her. We are so proud and lucky to have two healthy grandchildren. I had to stop my job as a nurse in 1996 due to arthritis, but I keep busy with our grandson and now our grandddaughter. Three pets occupy our empty nest-2 dogs and a hamster named Turkey- a suggested gift from our grandson for my 55th birthday. Michael works around the world now that the tobacco industry has been hit hard here in the states. Both my parents passed away and we get back to Danville far less than we would like. Would love to have a reunion soon and see everyone.
UPDATE:

Would I go back if I could-NO
Best time was when I graduated and stayed out all night with Pat Large and friends
Workplace
I loved being a nurse but I do not miss the political BS that went on! Patient Care became secondary I am sad to report -greed and the almighty dollar took over.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
Playing games on the computer
Helps me relax.
