Patricia's Story
If you remember me from HS, you know I idolized Paul Smith..... well after college - I went off to Chelmsford,MA to be the next Paul Smith there. For 9 years I built a Jr.High band, stage band, wind ensemble from small to over 250 kids participating... I also did CYO competition bands at Notra Dame and St Anns, and even played alittle professionally..... then came the BURN-OUT... while still teaching I joined the Massachusetts Air National Guard (Air Force - not Army) - Loved it, and should of done it sooner...
In 1980 I left teaching music to teaching computers with Digital.. and went from teaching to management to marketing to product management over 16 years... moved from NH to TX and then back to MA..... had to be able to see full size trees and mountains and at least be close to the ocean.
I've been in high tech since 1980 with "DEC", then Vista Controls, Hi...Expand for more
tachi, BEA Systems and lastly with Kinamik Data Integrity.
The economic down turn hasn't been go to any of us... and now I'm doing what needs to be done to pay the bills, but still looking to get back to high-tech.
Along this professional trip, I got married, gained a great step-son, had a daughter and son of my own, got divorced, had my ex pass away and lost both of my parents.
My step-son is now married, my daughter is in the USAF in Italy and my youngest son is out of HS taking a year off to "find" himself.
My memories of HS are mixed, some really good - band/softball/close friends and some blurred the classes/cliques/being the outsider
My memories of MANG are great for the 267th.... "work hard" and "party hard" we did that wherever we were
May old friends always remain and may we continue to make new ones... best of all to anyone who's reading this...
