Patricia Diane's Story
Life updated 2011
I am married to Travis Bittle and have been for 41 wonderful years, since 1970. We have two childen, Todd,40 who lives in Birmingham [Trussville] and has my only three grandchildren. & Kristie, 36,who lives in Tallassee. They are both married. We have three of the most precious Grandbabies, Austin Hunter, born June, 2001, who is 10 yrs. and Zackary Blain born March,2004 and turned 7 years, and most recent, Gavin Drake, 3, born in December,2007. We pastor in Tallassee Alabama, east of Montgomery, and too close to Auburn (all you "ROLL TIDE" fans will understand). I work for an OB/GYN practice in Montgomery, for 10 doctors, and 3 midwives where there is never a dull moment. I enjoy being a "MIMI" to my boys and we have one dog, which is like a child also. A Cocker Spaniel, Milee that was 13 yrs old (we had to put her to sleep due to health problems May 13, 2005, just like losing a child. She was my BABY) and a Brittany Spaniel, Bailee which is about 17 yrs. old. Dec. 12, 2009 at the age of 17 years, Bailee died. He was a good dog. Travis' bird dog. Hated to lose him. We are now pet-less. As of August, 2011 we rescued a 2 year old German Shorthair Pointer from a shelter in Florida. Travis and our daughter, Kristi went to pick her up. She is hyper and high energy but very lovable.

I ATTENDED SAKS HIGH SCHOOL FROM 1963 TO GRADUATION IN 1969. FROM THERE I WENT TO GADSDEN STATE AND THEN MARRIED. RETURNED TO SCHOOL WHEN M...Expand for more
Y YOUNGEST CHILD ENTERED KINDERGARTEN. AND FINISHED WHEN WE MOVED TO FLORIDA IN 1982. I went to work for a Physician in our church in Florida and we became close friends with his family. We then moved to Mississippi for a short stay, [too long in my estimation] then back to Anniston for 2 years where our son graduated from Saks High School 20 years after his dad and I. I very nostalgic and sentimental about life. We then moved back to B'ham for 5 years before coming to Tallassee. We have been in Tallassee for 17 years and someday we hope to move back to B'ham to be close to our grandchildren... We don't get to spend enough time with them... We do see them every weekend almost. The two oldest are very involved in baseball, especially Austin who is 10 years old. He will be a great ball player someday if he stays interested. We always thought he would play football for the Tide but it looks like he may play baseball instead. He is very intellegent for his age. Zack is a great ball player also. He decided to take time off from baseball and he is playing football this year and is doing very good. Little Gavin will follow in his brothers footsteps and play sports also. Well, enough of that, I could go on and on and on....
I would love to hear from some of you about your grandchildren and life since Saks!
Hope we have a reunion in 09 since it will be 40 years. [we did] Some of you are getting old...not me!!!!
