Patricia's Story
My name was Patty Burguiere, I used to live on Croton Dam Rd, Ossining NY and had to ride the bus to school. My mother was Pearl Burguiere, father was Wm or Bill Burguiere and brother was Billy Burguiere or Red Brigham (Country and Western Singer. After Graduation I worked for Sexauer in White Plains and the Credit Bureau in W.P. Then married Fred Dirocco and had a little girl(Kelly). We lived in Ossining for awhile, then moved to Wappnger Fall, NY. Had two boys, Freddie and Tom, later moved to Fishkill NY, bought home there and lived there for 17 years. Unfortunetly we lost the house due to the fact that my husband lost his job(at that time the economy was also pretty bad)My husband was a printer by trade, but got out of that line of work and took a job at IBM as a temp, later was hired full time, but it was too late, we lost the house but moved to a rental house nearby in Fishkill. Lived there 14 years, then decided to move to North Carolina(Cornelius). My husband had been ill with Diabetis, Heart trouble and more. The children grew up, Kelly married and had 3 children, Chrissy passed away from pneumonia, she was only three yrs old and she's my ANGEL GRANDCHILD.
I have two more grandchildren Faith 10Yrs, and Jeffery 8. Over the years we have had several dogs,(gone now). Mom, Dad and Brother passed on and inFeb 2009 my husband passed away. I moved and am living with one of my sons in Gastonia, NC.
I retired and on disability/ social security, I am 64 now and can't do as much as I used to because of back stenosis,and arthritis, but I still like Music,gardening, crafts, scrapbooking, I hate cooking, and not real fond of sewing. Like tv shows, some talk shows, love driving, and using computer, playing online games, Used to love dancing but can't do it anymore. Love dogs, but don,t have one at present. Don't have car right now but will get one soon.
Kelly and family our still in NY, but are hoping to move to SC soon, Thomas is in Poughkeepsie NY, and is working for IBM. My son that I am living with is Freddie, and is working at Boston Gear in Charlotte NC. Thats about it.

If I could improve my home, I'd remodel nothing and add on a nothing. My dream home would be to buy a home of my own with some land for a dog and a garden It should have a nice large front porch. It should have a 2 car garage and a shed,4 bedrooms, large eat in kitchen, lots of light, 2 bath, washroom, small patio in back for grilling,fireplace, pool and medium size living room with an archway from thkitchen to FR 1 room would be a computer room, Ranch style.

If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to my children, then spend the rest on bills, vacation and myself.
My current age is 64. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be so very old. I was so completely wrong.

My best friend would tell you I'm Very Talkative, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet.
No, Well I like fashion, Can't wear what I like until I loose some weight but, I like plain dresses, or small print, trench coats are nice, long skirts,with boots, small high heels I kinda like the kitten heels and Strappy Sandals. I dont like large prints or horizontal stripes, shoes with thick heels. I watch that program what not to wear, and did a homepage on fashion at one time.
I share my home with Eldest Son, which I find Good.
In 10 years, I hope to be Visiting Louisana. I'm going to get there by Car.
My first job was at Sexauer Mfg Co, where I got paid ???????? to file and type. What I remember most about it is How nice everyone was.
