Got teenagers! Wow! If you are reading this, I hope when you are done, you will take a moment to send me a note and let me know how you are. Have you hit the big Â50 yet? What a BLAST! I spent the first 50 satisfying all the expected Âshoulds - went to college, got a job, built a career, bought a couple houses, got married, had 2 kids, moved around the USA, had a mid-life awakening (not to be confused with a crisis), went back to school, changed careers, got divorced, got the kids + dog + cat. WHEW! I'm looking forward to the next 50+ with a better sense of humor, a little more wisdom, and a much less serious self. My teenagers are teaching me that frequent laughter may delay the onset of insa...Expand for more
nity, lots of hugs warm the soul, and it's always good to pray for miracles. I don't worry about "the shoulds" of life anymore and tend to believe that everything works out as it is intended. I have difficulty remembering past hardships and choose to invest my remaining brain cells in recalling happy times. After a busy day of teaching, I love to spend time in the hot tub gazing at the beautiful Colorado sky, enjoy a good cup of coffee/tea, and dream of beaches and mountains yet unseen. Also love riding motorcycles through the Rocky Mountains at sunrise! Hope life and love have been good to you!
